• What is Run for Champagne?

    Run for Champagne is a celebration of promoting fun and encouraging a healthy realistic lifestyle balance of fitness and wellbeing.

    Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to walk, jog or run and are rewarded for their efforts with a glass of sparkling champagne (non-alcoholic alternative available) along with a bespoke medal upon crossing the finishing line!


    Our aim is to create high quality and enjoyable events taking place in some of the most beautiful and expansive private estates.

  • Is there an age limit?

    There is no age limit to participate in the race or walk as long as you are fit and healthy enough to take part. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.


    All entrants who engage in a glass of champagne on finishing the race MUST be a minimum of 18 years on the day of the race or walk. The race organisers reserve the right to request identification or refusal should there be any question over this.

  • Will I receive confirmation of my race entry?

    Yes, details will be sent via email confirming your registration.

  • Is the event timed?

    No, unless specifically stated for a particular venue/event.

    Participants are able to use their own self timing devices if they wish.

  • Can I run or walk with my friends as a team or group?

    Yes of course.

  • Is there a group discount?

    Unfortunately group discounts are not offered. Entries are per person only.

  • Can I run for charity?

    Yes, Run for Champagne and your chosen charity would love it if you did.

    Simply set up a Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com and choose the charity you would like to support.

  • Can I run or walk in fancy dress?

    You are welcome to take part in fancy dress, but please consider what you are wearing and the type of terrain, obstacles or weather that you may encounter on the day.

  • Can I register on the day?

    Yes, although it’s still necessary to register via the website. You can collect your race number and timing chip on arrival at the check-in point.

  • Can my friends and family come and watch?

    Yes, spectators are more than welcome with refreshments available.

  • Are dogs permitted at the event?

    Yes, but all dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times and any waste MUST be cleaned up after! Dogs are NOT allowed on the race route. Canicross is not permitted at this event.

  • Can I run with a buggy?

    No. Unfortunately the type of terrain prevents this i.e. unsuitable surfaces with potential hazards.

  • Is there anywhere safe to leave bags or belongings?

    A secure storage area to leave bags or belongings during the race or walk will be available at a small fee.


    Make sure you come prepared and ready to go! Bringing a bag that is comfortable to run with if you want to keep belongings on you alternatively you can leave with friends/family that are spectating.

  • Will water be provided?

    Run for Champagne encourage all race goers to bring along a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

    Water stations will be placed throughout the course and available at the finish line.

  • Can I get a refund or give my place to a friend?

    Unfortunately, we do not give refunds. However, you can give your place to a friend within 7 days of your cancellation notice, after that, your place will then be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

    Run for Champagne LTD is neither a charity nor a non-profit organization, we are a for profit event management company that specialises in creating high quality and enjoyable events.
