Located in an idyllic setting beside the river Thames and amongst acres of beautiful wilderness, woodland and open countryside, this private estate offers something for everyone at all race levels!

 

 

By Car

Mapledurham is best accessed by leaving the M4 at Junction 11 towards Caversham and then taking the A4074 towards Wallingford/Oxford.  (Turn left over Caversham Bridge onto this road).

Travel on this road for approximately 2 miles. As you leave the housing area you will see a golf course on the left and another one on the right beside the Pack Saddle pub. Turn left opposite the Pack Saddle towards Mapledurham Village.

At the old Cross roads (Trench Green) Turn left towards Mapledurham Village follow this road for 1 mile.

Take great care on this road!

As you approach the village you will see a post box in the wall and a telephone box. Continue through the village until you get to the end of the road and you have arrived.

Sat Nav Instructions

4 miles North West of Reading, signed from the A4074 (Caversham to Oxford road). Please note - if you are using satnav directions, be aware that people are often directed to either Tilehurst (the other side of the river) or via The Warren which is inaccessible to traffic.

 

By Rail

The nearest main rail station is Reading approximately 5 miles away. You can then take a taxi to Mapledurham approximately 20 minute drive away.

 

By Bus

Due to the remoteness of Mapledurham Estate there is no public transport.

 

Please check bus and train timetables before travelling as Sunday services can vary.

Parking

There is plenty of parking available. If you are leaving belongings in your car, please ensure they are stored out of sight. There will be safe storage available for a small fee!

 

 

Dog Policy

Please note that Run for Champagne requests that dogs are kept on leads at all times while the event is taking place. Please remember to clean up after your dog and to keep your dog under control at all times.

Guide dogs are welcome in all areas.
